Vacation and the Transguide Signs on the Highway

The Queen was away on vacation for a few...uh...months but she is back now. She took a fun trip to the Renaissance Festival in Plantersville, TX and is back with a few more random thoughts. So here's one, as I was driving down IH 410 the other day, I started thinking about those signs that are over the road which tell us "Congestion ahead, use caution." I starting thinking that maybe there really wasn't any congestion ahead but the people at the transguide place might just be performing the ultimate experiment in human behavior. You know, the power of suggestion. If there isn't any congestion, but you tell the drivers that there is, does it create congestion? If I worked at the Transguide office, I would want to play games with the drivers, say something like, "It looks hopeless, take the next exit and go back to whence you came." Or maybe I would say, "Shouldn't you people be at work?" That would be funny. Oh well, just some random thoughts for today. Now that the blog is up and running again, I hope to post my random thoughts more often, but since they are random, I can't make any guarantees about when they will occur. Until later.
